Relaxed hair to natural hair
« on: June 25, 2017, 04:39:14 am »
Are there any women out there transitioning from relaxed hair
to natural hair? It sure is a job and a very long process, but I am learning
a lot about taking care of my hair. I bought a great book earler this year
called " The Science of black hair" and along with the great detailed information
in that book and utube, getting knowledge about hair care is endless.

I have been natural for years. I grew my hair out to about two inches then I cut it off. I don't have a lot of patience and just washed and moisturized my hair. I mostly wore it in a puff. It grew fast after I cut it too. I think it is best to wear your hair in braid outs, twist outs or two strand twist when you are transitioning.

I have been natural for more than 5 years but had to cut the ends of my hair initially but like tnshpalmer85 said, after cutting, my hair grew out quickly.
