Totally! Not as hectic as your agenda seems to be, though! Fifty people? It will take a week to clean up the house! My daughter, home from college, and son will be joining us at the club for swimming and barbecue. We have a friend in from New York that we love dearly who will be joining us as well. He stayed over on Saturday and we all got a wee bit tipsy with another friend who is in town from Georgia. It kind of justified taking a nap in the sun, on our deck, with my son yesterday afternoon. My wife has a tennis match at eleven and then we will hang at the pool until three when it is supposed to rain. Then I think we will come home and watch a scary movie. The family got together to eat pizza and watch the Ring last night. Have a great holiday!

I don't think Memorial Day is a day of celebration.  That would be like "celebrating" the annual date of the death of a loved one.  It is a day to "remember" the ones who have given their lives so we can live in a country that is free.

Sad is the idiots in this country are just throwing those freedoms away.  Those men and women died for nothing.

Well today me and my daughter are having a quiet day alone, enjoying watching TV and eating, nothing special. Just grateful to see another Memorial Day.

We heard lots of fireworks in the (not so) distance last night, but my birthday fell on Memorial Day so my family and I relaxed yesterday, ate some frozen yogurt, took a walk. It was nice.

I really enjoyed this holiday. My first paid holiday off actual work in my adult life. I like it!
