This whole situation is a testament to both human depravity and media feeding frenzy.  Think about it.

I think "He hung himself" sums it up quite well and would be great if it was never brought up again. Why dwell on the wasted life of a talented athlete that killed people? The families of Hernandez's victims can breathe a sigh of relief as they will not be pulled into court every time Hernandez would try to appeal his sentence or constantly be reminded of their loss every time he got into trouble in jail. We have a dear friend that has to fly out to court appearances every time the murderer of my friend's sister asks for an appeal or change of jurisdiction. This murderer was caught red handed and admitted killing for five years. My friend comes back depressed for weeks. If someone else killed him they will have to bear that burden.

I couldn't agree with your comments more than if I had written them myself.  Hernandez had all the opportunities and talent but wanted to be a thug.  Well, he got what thugs deserve!  I guess he thought he was such a big, important thug that he was beyond the reach of the law!?  It's sad he wanted to be a thug rather then a role model for young men.

Who knows?  They can spin the story however they want.

There are so many different theories out there right now. I do not believe he killed himself. He was too cocky and narcissistic to do that. I believe once he got let off for those other murder charges, somebody had had enough and found a way to make him pay. But only him and the 4 walls will ever know the truth.

It's pretty clear he hung himself. What a waste of a good life. He had it all and threw it away.
