Chris Berman stepping down from ESPN
« on: February 04, 2017, 06:11:41 pm »
Well, for those unaware, Chris Berman is stepping down from being ESPN's "Face of Football" after nearly 40 years. It's pretty disappointing to me as it seems Chris was edged out by the higher-ups. I enjoyed his many years of service on Prime Time football and of course, as "The Swami" on The 2 Minute Drill.

Thanks for the memories, Chis.

I had not heard this. If true that he was forced out, that really is a shame. He's always been a classy guy and ranks way up there with Steve Sabol when it comes to filmmakers and/or broadcasters with no NFL playing or coaching experience but with tremendous football knowledge.
