Anyone making money with google?

My opinion is that adsense is like most everything else...if you want to work it, you can make money...It does require you to make some web sites and promote those pages.  I promote my metalcasting hobby pages on hobby forums and I can see a big difference when I promote (even just putting a link in a signature) and when I don't.  I am only making about 200 a year from it, but it is some money...and any money is good to me!

I have an adsense account...haven't made any money with it yet...it is fresh and new...but I love to blog so why not have the potential to make money with it?! I get loads of hits, but that is about as far as I have gotten so far...Maybe I will make some money before it is over.

Adsense (PPC ads in general) is fairly dead except for a handful of people who got in early.  Has been for some time now.  You need thousands upon thousands of hits a day, you need perfect ad layouts, etc.  There are better ways to make money online with less effort.

This is not true. I have a blog with adsense and you will be surprised at the amount you can make with just a few clicks from visitors.
If you have a popular blog you can make as much if not more than other PTC sites with very little work. You do need to keep your blog updated and get it to be seen.

You don't need thousands of hits a day and you don't need perfect ad layouts. If you are into blogs there is no better way with less effort.
