Well we don't get a sales flyer here for our  dinky store, if you want one you have to go to the store for it. But i do look at the ads for Walmart and Sam's club before i drive 120 miles one way to go shopping. That way i kinda of know what they have, but they also have so many in store  sales. I save a lot of money going out of town,

Every month I shop at one of the coupon sites, for things I buy often.

I get the flyer in the mail for the grocery store of my choice, and often have a coupon for something that is already on sale. I also always check the in-store flyer.

I belong to a site that lets me look at the coming week's flyer for my drug store, and write down, if I want to take advantage of any sale.

I also mark on my calendar when another grocery store (for instance) has their month sale on say yogurt, and I get it for 29 cents per individual yogurt, as opposed to 79cents. I load up.

I have to be frugal, and I have it down to a routine that I can do pretty quickly.

I read it every Tuesday since that's when all my store papers come in the mail.

I usually just buy my groceries at Walmart and do the savings catcher so that I don't have to keep up with it.  Of course they don't give as many options to earn money back as they did when they first started.

I do once in a while, but usually my brother keeps me up-to-date on the grocery fliers.  Its his obsession.

I look at the store sales to see how to get a good deal.  Some are and others aren't.  Shop and compare.
