misunderstandings
« on: September 09, 2016, 12:28:27 pm »
I have a neighbor who noticed that a mutual neighbor had company.
She said it was her daughter when actually, it was her daughter in law.
She said that the lady worked for the government when she actually worked as a secretary on Wall Street.
Boy, we can live the exciting life when we let other people make things up about us.

You know sometimes the older a person gets the more confused they get. It might be that is all it is . If she gets confused a lot then it might be time too see a doctor.  A neighbor of ours was starting to really get confused and couldn't tell a lie from the truth and he had alzimeras  (heck) can't spell today) but you know what i mean. He started roaming the streets lostand we would all go looking for him and bring him back home. Finally had to go to  a home for his lillness.

Without trying to be rude, maybe the neighbor needs a hobby instead of being a busy body.

Nothing really misleading about calling her a daughter. She technically is her daughter even if only by marriage.

Also, she may infer from someone working on Wall Street as someone who works for the government. It's probably all the same to her. After all, they are rather closely aligned. Corporations pretty much rule the government.

I hope she didn't spend too much time investigating the information she gave you. Does she work for the FBI?  :-\

I have a couple of neighbors like that.  What they don't know, they make up.
I call them Bobble heads, because they sit on their porch and watch everybody.
