This may sound morbid, but it is wise. I'd prepay and arrange my husband and I funeral arrangements. I'd hate to leave that undone at my passing, leaving such a burden and question as to what should be done. Then of course pay off all debts, buy a nice home, upgrade our vehicles and donate to animal organizations such as ASPCA. We had discussed that if ever we had a large windfall that upon our deaths all assets and remaining funds are to go to animal rescue and research for a cure, not just treatments, for AIDS and Cancer. During our life we'd obviously donate to the charities we feel close to such as Hospice and animal shelters.

Well, if I won 1.5 million I would do the following:
1.  Pay off my house and car.
2.  Buy a travel trailer that I can use at retirement.
3.  Give $150,000 to God's work.
4.  Help my little sister with a down payment for a house.
5.  Help my son more with college.
6.  Retire a little bit earlier.
