free time
« on: August 06, 2016, 11:07:18 am »
we all have certain things we do every day.
some things repeat; some are unique to each day.
someone may come along and bring something special to the day.
it may "break up your day" as they say.
interruptions are not always expected.
the things we see as important tend to shift.

Very true. As I get older I realize how important those little moments are. Surprises are always more memorable but sometimes it helps to create them yourself just by doing something out of the ordinary, even something small or silly.

Pretty much  the same thing everyday. Wake up, walk the dogs, make breakfasts and lunches for the family, visit fusion cash (and a few other sites), review my assets and make sure they are allotted to the tools that give the best returns, go to work for ten to eleven hours, come home, make dinner, work out of the study until I am near to passing out, work another fifteen minutes and then go to bed. Saturdays and Sundays allow for change as I only work fourteen to sixteen hours on those days. I do get to hit the stationary bike for about thirty minutes everyday which has been keeping clots from redeveloping in my legs and I found a site that pays me twenty cents once a day for every thirty minute work out I complete.

I tend to do different things everyday, it all depends upon what mood I'm in.  Since retiring it has been nice to do whatever I feel like doing at any given time.  I must say I am enjoying my retirement.   :)

None of my time is free, I am only allocated 24 hours a day and if I blow it I can never get it back, so I try to spend as much as I can on activities that produce cash flow, so I can enjoy the rest more.

I like to do a lot of DIY around my house, walk my dogs, go to the beach, relax by the pool.

I enjoy cross-stitching. When I am picking up the kids from school, I normally have a book in the car while I am waiting on them.

True. :) Most days are the same for me. I don't work outside the home, but I eat breakfast, usually exercise, take care of all the animals (cats and a lizard!), do any laundry, dishes, vacuuming, taking out garbage, etc., that needs doing, then relax a bit, work on my sites, errand run if necessary, hang around the house, go to sleep. Pretty monotonous and unfulfilling, especially not having a decent income and never going out for fun! :(

I do about the same, but part of the time I watch TV to entertain myself and click ads on my laptop while I do it. It makes it more interesting and provides extra cash I can use to go out and have fun. That is fulfilling enough for me.
