I've stopped watch star trek after seeing the first remake movie. I really can't get use to these new younger counter part characters whomever is the actor! What I'm really disappointed with is why they made George Tiek/Sulu's character gay! The original star trek sulu didn't display an ounce of gayness as Sulu!I feel they invaded the actor's personal private life by incorporating his sexual orientation into his character Sulu who definitely was not gay from the start!

Yeah, I agree. And so does George Takei who played the original Mr Sulu!

I saw this yesterday and it blew my mind. I'm so glad I brought tissues though because I cried a lot, especially when they showed a picture of the original cast (from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier) I just lost it, lol. It was such a gorgeous movie, though. Very happy.
