I have been in some bad relationships, but I know there are good men out there. I would love to meet a good person who I can call my partner one day. I would also like to get remarried. I go to church so I would like to meet someone who was into church as well. It seems many of the men who attend my church are already married.

I met my wonderful husband online.  It was a site called "Plenty of Fish"  It is totally free unlike some of the others.  I would highly recommend it.

I think that changing up one's routine can sometimes bring on the right mate. I abhor recommendations from friends because it can be insulting. Getting out more is one way. I would not advise bars as alcohol often masks intentions and whether a person is good or bad can be hard to determine as it may be the alcohol talking. I do not think fitness centers are the best route as you generally run into a much higher volume of narcissism.  Some people have mentioned church and, if you are really into church, this sounds like a good idea.  I am into work so I think I would find a tiny, insignificant job at a high volume establishment-this would certainly have me meeting lots of people and I would get paid to do so.

plenty of fish ok may look at it for my son.He's 24 and has no girlfriend  he likes someone he works with but nothing so far. he is kind of a homebody so doesn't really try. I went to church so i told him to try a church with a young group  and also so far nothing.

Don't think about being in a relationship. Just thank God that he is preparing you for that husband that you desire and when the time is right, you will meet your future hubby!

I agree with some that have been saying to just get out more. Like camellia0 mentioned, don't go trying to find a partner. Rather, just do things that you like to do, and you may meet someone that shares those same interests. Although I agree with a lot of what Tresbn00 said, I would put a caveat on the policy of not going to bars / nightclubs to meet people.... I think it's OK to go to those facilities if you are going to a place where the focus is not on consuming alcohol but rather for some other activity. For example, because I like singing, I'd go out to bars that had karaoke; I was able to do some activity that interested me where alcohol wouldn't completely impair my decisions (usually the good singers wouldn't drink much in order to maintain better vocal control and without drying out their throat). Similarly there is a bar located next to a pond with a sandy beach, and the bar will host beach volleyball tournaments every once in awhile.
