Oh yes, I absolutely wash clothes before donating them. It seems too unsanitary and vulgar somehow not to do that first. I would want someone to donate clean clothes if I were accepting them, so I do the same.

Any clothes I donate is always wash and clean.  How do that look, giving away dirty clothes. :(

Yes..I wash clothes before I donate them.  I try to give items in good and clean condition...they really do think have time to clean stuff.  This is a charity...

They usually come right out of the drawers or closet so they are already clean.

Yes, as I would never want to donate any clothing that appear dirty or smelly.

I definitely wash the clothes before I donate them. In situations such as this, I always think about putting myself in the position of the person(s) receiving my donated clothing. I would prefer the person to do the same for me. Needless to say, I live wholeheartedly by the Golden Rule. :-)

Always! I never donate anything, clothes or otherwise..before donating it.  It's only right, I wouldn't want something dirty just because it's cheaper.

Mine are already clean before I donate them.  I make sure they are in good condition also.
