What should you do should you stay with someone who beats u no matter how much you love them? Should you stay with someone who talks down on you ?well i think if u have someone in ur life like this you should run run as fast as you can an never look back.

Obviously if someone is in an abusive relationship, they should leave as staying could be unsafe to say the least! The abuser should be reported to the police, violent behavior should never go unpunished.

Definitely, a restraining order needs to be in place. Also counseling is needed to build self esteem. No one should ever stay with someone that beats on them.

I agree with the above comments..file a restraining order and dump them. If someone loves you, they will never hurt you. It's time to move on.

No. I know psychological abuse (talking down on someone, for instance) is very serious and damaging to a person, but I think it can be a case of the perpetrator seeking psychological help to understand the underlying problems why they are doing that and getting guidance to stop doing it. If it doesn't work and the person is just a big ol' jerk, then so long! I do think while that person is going through their therapy they are probably better off being single. But all in all, yeah, you shouldn't stay with someone who is hurting you in any way.  :heart:
