Qualifying for surveys
« on: April 26, 2016, 10:06:24 am »
I just had a question. Maybe it's because I'm a pretty young college student that still lives with his parents at the moment (although I do still work and pay rent) but I've had terrible luck qualifying for surveys on other websites so far. Could anyone in my position let me know how much luck they have qualifying for surveys here? And could anyone recommend other websites where I could get paid taking surveys and actually qualify for those surveys?

It's all about the demographics - where you live, female/male, age, etc.  I'm not in your age category, but the best advice I can give you is just keep trying.  All surveys are hit or miss, I don't care which sites you go to.  Some days will be better than others.  I go through the list of surveys each day.  Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose.  That's just the way it is.

Keep on trying. BlackSheepNY pretty much explained the situation. It is all about demographics. I go through the regular survey list and then I try my luck with TapResearch, Live, Lab42 and see if they have any that I qualify to take for the day. Stay positive. It is a numbers game - the more you try to qualify for, the more likely you will qualify.Good luck!

I'm an unemployed college student and I still manage to qualify for enough surveys to cashout every month. It's about overall demographics though so the ones your fit may not be what they're looking for or tends to fill up quickly.

I am 71 years old and work in market research. I do not qualify for very many surveys but still I am able to complete a few every month on FC. I find the best surveys for me are the ones on the FC page sponsored by FC.

Working in market research, I know that your age group as well as being a college student is very desired by the researchers. Just keep trying.

It's not that hard... you just have to try 5-10 times. I usually give up at 5 and go to another survey website, then repeat. I do that as long as I can if I have free time and am not bored from taking a few already. Some days just suck to the point of only doing daily stuff and leaving. I check all day long from work where I basically don't have to do much and can take surveys at the same time.

I am more pissed that I have 3 surveys today that told me I did not qualify AFTER they said I finished the entire survey. That is why I refuse to try a survey over 15 minutes. I'm not spending 30 minutes giving them free answers and being kicked out.

It's virtually impossible to prove anything with a screenshot since half the pages are just "Click me to finish" so how can I file a complaint. Just take my losses and move on.

Yes, it's all about demographics.  You being a young college student should put you in a popular demo group, even though you live at home with little income.  Keep trying.

If you live at home with your parents then I would assume you could add their income since the question is the --> total income for ALL members of your household, not just you. So you wouldn't have to put, "broke" as your household income since your household would be you plus parents, other relatives, etc.
