where do you get refs?
« on: April 20, 2016, 06:50:52 pm »
I have a blog so I do not try to get refs in real life. But I was wondering what others do to get refferals. I was thinking of taking some cards I made to a farmers market/fair would that be weird??

I think your blog is going to get you the most referrals, depending on the subject matter of your blog. But it won't hurt to get some cards out. The only issue is people might think it's weird or a scam and just throw it out, but if you can make a connection to what's at the market or you know some people, that might help.

Getting referrals is only half of the battle, keeping them active long enough to see the value of FC is the biggest challenge.

You just need to keep thinking up new ways to contact those who need this (which is in the 90% range of those trying to make money online) and find a way to get fresh bait where they can *bleep* it.

OK, how about where they can grab it?

premar16, you must be so frustrated at having that number of referrals, and only eleven active.  That's unbelievable.  Why do people sign up and do nothing!  They don't give it a chance to find out how great it is.  At least you do get a reward for their initial signup.  I guess that's some consolation!  And as a matter of fact, I would LOVE to have eleven actives!

I currently have 878 referrals and three cashouts this month, but they rotate. I usually average 2 to 5 now, but years ago I had as many as 15 to 18 a month. I am working on improving that average again.

Use email list building to connect with your referrals to stay active for you. You can also use safelists to promote your referral link to gain referrals. I know I have no referrals and made decent amount of money here without referrals.

That's why you need some referrals, so you can make INDECENT money.  8)

    :) :)

I like the way you talk, OB!! ;)

I have a lot of referrals too and a great deal of the money I make are from referrals. I may build a list in this niche,  but my plate is full and it's not worth the time at the moment.

A great deal of my referrals are from my blog posts and small portion are from social media. I imagine there are an even smaller portion from flyers that I put out in laundromats in my area. I wish there was a way we could track where are referrals come from. :confused1:

The only way to get a better conversion would be to build a list and email them regularly. Other than that there is nothing is else to do to increase the activity level of your referrals.

In terms of getting referrals...(besides blogging)
     * Create Facebook Page, Google+ page, etc..
     * Promote links in social media
     * Post flyers in your area where there are boards (usually laundromats)
     * Promote in safelists, traffic exchanges (I suggest you create your own splash page/squeeze page)

The biggest downside is there is no tracking mechanism within FC so you can't see which of these efforts are giving you the better results.:bad:[/list]

I don't concern myself too much with tracking, other than watching my PayPal account go up. I use Fusioncash as a feeder program to give people the money to join another money maker that pays a lot more. If that results in active referrals for Fusioncash too, that is just icing on the cake

I've consider paying like $10 to Clixsense to force people to watch my website blog ad for 10 seconds. I figure $10, I don't really have much to lose. I assume there are much better places to advertise, but I'm sure the price rises fast the more reputable the company.

I see that power of referrals... If they made money and kept cashing out, then I could just do $15 of stuff a month (to cover non-bonuses) so I could cash out with more than getting bored out of my mind from surveys.

I do like to take the personality test and political ones though. Not if they are more than 15 minutes. 20 minutes is my survey limit for $.075 to $1.50, unless I can get $3-5, then I am willing to push it to 30 minutes. If it takes longer than 30 minutes, I'm not even going to try because the chance of accidentally getting kicked out is too high to waste 45 minutes.

Don't advertise your blog itself, use modern technology to target people and get them on a list, so you can follow up with them a few times.
