No Coincidences with God.
« on: March 10, 2016, 01:15:07 pm »
I just finished writing up a new blog post in my blog No Coincidences with God. It is rather long to recreate here and I know we aren't really supposed to share direct links, but if you Google "no coincidence Stations in Life", it should come up near the top of the search list.

I am not necessarily looking for feedback (but won't ignore it either) - I just wanted to share the idea with those who are interested that there truly are NO coincidences with God and share another instance where that concept really jumped out [at me].

Eccl 9:11...Solomon said,Time and unforseen occurrence befalls everyone.

You might be in right place at right time...you might be in wrong place at wrong time.

Our lives are not pre-destined.

The 1st 2 commandments say to Love God <Jehovah>and to love your neighbor.Acts of kindness of course should always back them up when dealing with either!

No they aren't.  We have free will.  And our choices not only effect us but other people as well.  I don't believe in karma or that what you do will come back to you.  I use to have a neighbor that said that all the time and I swear I wanted to hit her.  I know people who have lived for years doing wrong and basically just being evil.  Nothing bad ever happens to them.  They have plenty of money, a nice place to live, do not struggle with anything or want for anything.

Country girl....B.Madoff got away with yrs of swindling others.I am sure he lived high on the hog.But guess what...hes in jail for life now and saw his son committ suicide..let us not forget this scripture either....

Gal 6:7 God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a person is sowing this he will also reap. How true is that with smokers getting lung cancer or alchoholics damaging their liver!

God pronounced judgment on the Ninevites in the bible. They wound up repenting and saved themselves. You can read that in book of Jonah. My point here is freewill caused them to change their ways and obey. That pre-destined garbage is a good example of the BS it is by that point. The reaping and sowing is done by free will and the bad effects catch up.Now i know 1 might say,hey i had a grandfather that smoked 3 packs a day all his life and never died of lung cancer.Well the bible answers that too.It tells us some are mightier than others. What about the non-smoker who still gets lung cancer?OK maybe other contributing factors may have caused it too.

Thanx for listening

Been listening to some atheists on youtube .They bring up the fact that in the old testament slavery was allowed and seemed to be ok with god.Christians have said it was different, then the slavery we know more like indentured servants.I do believe in God most of the time.

Been listening to some atheists on youtube .They bring up the fact that in the old testament slavery was allowed and seemed to be ok with god.Christians have said it was different, then the slavery we know more like indentured servants.I do believe in God most of the time.

By the time the Bible began to be written, humans had already established social structures and economic systems that conflicted with godly principles. While some of the practices involved were condemned in his written Law, God chose to tolerate others, such as slavery.

Regarding the social structure of the ancient nation of Israel, The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia states: “It was meant to function as a brotherhood in which, ideally, there were no poor [and there was] no exploitation of widows, waifs, or orphans.” Hence, more than simply allowing an already established social and economic structure, God’s Law regulated slavery so that, if practiced, slaves would be treated in a humane and loving manner.

Watchtower library online gives more examples. Many try to blame God for something already started by man and Satan rulership.God allowed it and regulated it justly. In Gods kingdom it will NOT exist!
