I still can see him in the "Shakiest gun in the West." He is quite a very happy character type person. All my boys love seeing his movies.  Hope to see another Don Knotts of our day and age but there can be only one.

Yea, I love his work. I can still laugh at his movies and his characters. The Reluctant Astronaut, The Ghost and Mr Chicken, and of course his character Barney on Andy Griffith. He was a great actor.

What???? When?  I had not heard this.  I loved him on Andy Griffith.  He made the show.  So sad to hear this.
