how was your new years

mine was great spent it with friends and family

I had a spontaneous New Year's Eve which is always my favorite. We got a last minute call from some parents (whose daughter had played soccer with our daughter-now off to college). These friends invited us to go to a little hole in the wall biker bar that serves wonderful buffalo wings. They even came and picked us up. On the way home we stopped off at a ritzy wine bar and ran into even more friend and danced the night away.  Both of my kids had decided to go to a concert (and had booked a hotel room just two blocks away from the concert) so we were able to party with no worries. We had so many laughs and then spent New Year's day catching up on movies at the theaters-taking a break for lunch and dinner.

We had an adult party and I fell asleep before midnight, and then we had a kid party, I didn't fall asleep during that one, and had a huge mess the next day.

Mine was quiet and relaxing. Spent at home to avoid all the crowds, watched the ball drop and that's it.

I went to sleep early on new year eve.  But have a wonderful day with my family on New year day.

It was pretty, good, my family didn't make a big deal out of it. i was sick around that time so, i  wished eveyone happy new year over the phone,text,& email!
