Group lottery

Do you participate in a group lottery at your place of employment? I participate in one, we have not won much. Still waiting to win enough to retire, lol.

We sonetimes do.  One time we won &1000.00, but by the time we split it between ALL of us, we each received $2.19.  LOL

No, we don't do group lotteries here where I work.  I did break down and purchase a $2 powerball ticket yesterday.  Like everyone else, I didn't win.  I still can't believe that out of the millions of people who played, the winning number wasn't played.  Now tell me the lottery games aren't rigged!!!

I don't work any more so I can't participate in a work lottery but I did participate a lot when I was working. Even with a lot of people buying the lottery tickets we never won anything but there was always that hope so we all kept participating anyway. It was fun while it lasted.

My wife contributes to one every week in her office.  They rarely win much, and if it is a small amount they just roll it over into the next week's tickets.  We don't do one in my office. Nobody there is all that interested, including myself.  I've played on occasion, but not very often.
