A womans purse
« on: December 15, 2015, 04:45:22 pm »
Outside of money, credit cards, id's  and check book, what do you carry in your purse that you take to work everyday. I carry a lot of things because I am at work for 8 hours and cannot go home until my shift is over, lol. For example, I take my second pair of glasses,  carpel tunnel brace, medicine, vitamins, pens, paper, hair pins, rain scarf, lotion, Vaseline keys, tissue, eye glass cleaner,  cell phone, mp3 player and I already have snacks in my drawer at work.

Ok, be honest, what do you carry?

Very little. I hate having clutter in my purse.

I usually have a lip gloss or two. In a small pouch I have nail clippers, chapstick and tweezers. Last item is the key card for my building at work.

For 15 years I helped my son take care of his four daughters.

My purse was not my own. It took on a life all by itself.

Gum, chewed gum, candy wrappers, kids money for some event, my money, extra pencils and pens to replace what gets lost every day, teen make-up and annoying things they played with in the car to drive me and their siblings up the wall ad nauseum.

To be honest, would do it again in a heartbeat.

Now I have my purse all to myself, and can't even find my own keys in there!   :)

WOW that's a lot of stuff.  I have worked from home for so many years I take having everything I need right handy for granted.  No wonder large purses are the thing!

I am retired now, so I don't have to worry about taking something for work.  Mostly the things you have already mentioned and add a calendar, medication and sometimes a book to read.
