I think we should all donate to a worthy cause to
end animal suffering just a little bit goes a long ways.
Our animal companions don't ask for much just some
love and food would help for God's creations that need

I agree with you.  If you use Amazon, use their website "smile.amazon.com" specifically, where you can choose the charity of your choice to give to when you purchase products/services on Amazon.  My choice of charity is the ASPCA.

Another thing we should do if we already have animals is to make sure we bring them in from the cold, if we are cold chances are they are too, Also hit the trunk of your car several times before leaving, cats like to crawl under tires in cold weather, so be careful you don't have any under yours. We once had a kitten crawl in our car and heard it meow, and found it on top of the motor of the car. We still don't know how it got there but they try to keep warm.

I have kids to feed first....but we have a turtle,hamster, Guinea pig & bunny getting bugger every day...Lol....

Thanks for this post!!  Animals give us so much & there are sooo MANY ways to give back whether it's donating money or needed items to a pet charity/shelter, adopting (or taking in a stray), volunteering at a shelter or being a foster parent, signing on-line petitions to help animals (they DO make a difference), sharing your knowledge with others on how to care for pets, helping a pet shelter with their fundraisers (or support by participating), etc.

So many ways & opportunities to make their world a better place.

A pet is a long-time commitment. Currently I have two dogs, one is 9 and the other one is 10. My daughter keeps asking for a puppy but two is enough for this household.

I agree  I am a huge animal lover. I have two cats and two dogs  I can't imagine ever mistreating then
