Winter in Your World?

Here in the mid-Michigan area, winter has finally arrived.  It is cold today and has been flurrying on and off.  It is overcast and dreary.  I miss the beautiful warmer days we had not long ago.  I sometimes wonder why I am still in Michigan, but when I watch weather reports from many other areas of the country, I look anew at Michigan and count my blessings.  Tornadoes, floods, fires, mudslides...

Muggy, cold and rainy. Blech.

We have heavy frost still on the ground this morning. No white stuff.

We've got massive flooding here in the Midwest. Parking lots, homes and highways are inundated with water, rivers are rising and cresting, and they're evacuating people from their homes. Looting will probably happen to those who have to evacuate. 

It's hard to get to where you want to go when the highways are covered with water and the whole world looks like a vast sea or an ocean.  Still no real winter here. Whoever reads this and is a prayer warrior, please pray for those who have to leave their homes at this time of year when everyone should feel blessed and happy.

It's hot, muggy and humid in my side of the world, can't stand it.

I live in VA. It is cold now but we actually had warm weather over the holidays.

While we don't get the real cold or snowy weather you do, here in the Southwest it has been a bit on the chillier side lately.  I guess that's why it's a good "holiday" kind of feeling since we don't have snow.

It's cold here. I feed the birds, they are so grateful, seems the chirp to me. I give them my dried sunflower heads too
