When I do make cakes or pies, I usually do make them from scratch.  Once in a great while I will use a box mix for brownies.

I do make my own cakes and pies, Ive yet to buy a pie at the grocery store that taste's good, very little fruit and its mostly the gelatin stuff they put in, not sure what its called lol

I like to make apple pie.  I make cake from boxes never from scratch.  Im not a baker like that but i have stayed away from sweets lately

I used to make a lot around the holidays but now since my grandparents & parents have passed and my son lives on the West Coast it's very rare I bake now..it's a lot of work ;)

I wish i had the talent to make homemade cake and pies i know my family would enjoy that too, maybe ill have to pick up a cook book and try it out.

I do most of my baking myself although I have to admit that when I had a Costco close by I used them quite a bit.  I had family in this last weekend and made 4 pies from fruit we had grown in are yard.  They were yummy but I think the crowd would have eaten anything!  I love to bake but will have to stop soon be cause I eat more of them than I should.

No. I have never made anything from scratch before including homemade cakes or pies. I hope to learn how to cook from scratch someday.

Sometimes yes but most of the time know to be starting from scratch brings out the most tasteful cakes and pies imaginable
