Well it's not just grown men anymore. Us women and kids yell at the tv. It's exciting to see my team play and whether the ref makes a call that I don't let or a player make a careless move, these are a couple of things that get me screaming. Such an exciting sport and I'm ready for it!

The competition, the heart and soul of the players, like gladiators they are out there batteling every play every game.

Thankfully, my husband isn't like that. I'm probably louder than him when watching any kind of sport.

I think it makes them remember their high school football games and gets them all rowdy, otherwise I couldn't explain it ha-ha o well.

I could care less about most sports.  Pretty much the only time I watch these type of competitions is when the Olympics are on.  Otherwise, many of them bore me stiff after 30 minutes or so!

I didn't know that only grown men watched and got excited about football.  I love football and I am a woman.

I think it is simply a way for the guys to vent their anger on another team.  I think it is a great stress reliever for all guys in all sports.
