Do people still crochet?

I like to crochet every now and than. I am not the best and can only do a few types of stitches but it is a fun hobby.

   Where I live there a lot of them who still do...and they are really good at it!

I have two friends that do, but I haven't seen or heard of them doing them lately.

I  crocheting, but do not do it during the summer very much.  I also like to do rug hooking, but you don't seem to hear about a lot of people doing that either.    I enjoy them n the winter when it gets dark so early.

I'm almost jealous! I tried crochet years ago and could not get the hang of it! I keep saying I'll try again one day...

I do in the winter months and all that time on my hands.

I never learned how to crochet - I would try to learn but I am just not good at stuff like that - my sister-in-law is amazing she makes baby dresses, crocheted blankets, booties a lot of stuff - she has a real talent but then she has been doing it for years.
