Has anyone ever seen the show catfish?

If you haven't it's basically about online relationships and people meeting.. the show overall i think is great...

What is your opinion on the show?

I pesonally think it's great because it teaches people what could actually happen to you online... you don't know who your talking to unless you have actually seen them on webcam. and even if you know the person and get to know them.. they still just might not be right for you...
 I am still pretty shocked at outcomes of the show though some just throw me for a big loop

Yep, I've watched the show since it started. I didn't really care for this past season though. Something was lacking, I think it started with the guests they had hosting for Max and even after that something was still off.

I watch the show occasionally.  It's sad that people get strung along for so long in these relationships.  I don't understand how people let this happen.  I would definitely require to see someone on a webcam after not very long.

I've sometimes watched the show, although I really enjoyed the movie a lot more; the movie was able to get into much more detail than the TV show can offer. It really is amazing, esp. when someone that may be computer savvy can get fooled by scammers... I even watched a special on Nova about hackers (ok, not true catfish scammers, but along the same lines) where a writer for Wired magazine had his digital life wiped out because of a group of kids impersonated him on-line and were able to get into many of his accounts by using various "Forgot Password" functions on those web-sites (this is his article about his experience).

I have seen it a few times i do not get what everyone loves in that show so much. I get all upset after watching it because people can be so ridiculous.
