Having a Facebook account is basically giving up your online privacy anyway. Do some google searches to see what they are selling to advertisers about their members, you won't worry about CF anymore

Once you join Facebook you allow their cookies to be on YOUR computer which allows access by them and others for potential hacking, which can be done by anyone. 

That is ridiculous, you are no more vulnerable with a Facebook account than you are with any other online service.

That is ridiculous to say that because some sites are safer than others and can be trusted more than FB especially since you are giving real info and leaving yourself open to comments you may not want others to see and have no control who can put them there.  For example I feel quite safe on this site because people don't know your real name and you can't easily contact others unless you do sly stuff like say google me.  The point I was trying to make anyway was not about the security of FB per say, but was that being forced to join it in order to do CF tasks is wrong and they should come up with another way, pay attention.
