Valentines Day
« on: February 06, 2015, 01:26:01 pm »
Valentine's Day is sneaking up on us, whether we like it or not.  I remember being young and exchanging Valentine cards with my class mates.  It was my favorite holiday, back then.

What are your thoughts about Valentines Day?

Do you have a special someone to spend that day with?

Specific plans?

I know it's still early in the month of February; however, I like knowing how people manage to be creative that day.

I believe love is important so I'm glad there's a specific day when we celebrate our love for others.
Have a great day!

ive never cared about valentines day... I dont think there should be a certain day to celebrate love, if you love someone you should tell that person every day, in your own way, without hallmark telling you to buy a card and some flowers.
with that being said though, my significant other likes to celebrate it so we do. I dont hate valentines day, but i dont love it. i think its pointless thats all.

I remember exchanging Valentine's at school too.  I'm unattached and haven't paid much attention to it in recent years.  It's an excuse to wear my red shirts.  I create products for the holiday in my Zazzle store.  I like the idea of a holiday to celebrate love.

I love it solely for the new red velvet oreos with the cream cheese icing in the middle, which I will be picking up & trying out tomorrow.  So excited to try out these limited edition cookies, hopefully they'll be delicious as they sound :)

Valentine's day has never been high on my list of favorite holidays!
I was never the popular kid in school and I don't have a significant other.
I do have wonderful family and friends that love dearly and tell them often how much they mean to me.
So  no I don't have any plans for that day.  :peace:

Is that coming up?  Ha, well clearly I have no one special to spend that day with.  It is what it is.  I will be spending that day just like any other day.

It's just another day.

Yes, I'm single and not bitter at all.

Ha ha - just another day for me...except for perhaps an excuse to buy chocolates or any other items that I see as "deals"...we should show our love to others EVERY day, not just once a year...companies just needed to find a way to make $, lol
