We saw the Fifty Shade of Grey together with my several girl friends, That was not bad. But most of my frineds said; the book is better than the movie, which I can't compare because I have not read the book.

I absolutely hate that phrase.  Just because someone disagrees with something does not mean they are a hater.  People have a right to like or dislike something.  I don't agree with the people who were protesting and blocking the way of people who want to see the movie.  From what I heard the movie didn't really show anything anyway.  And there are other sexual movies that show much more than what this supposedly did.

Books are always better than the movie.  Books usually have more details.  Also you play your own movie in your head as you read a book and most times a movie does not live up to the standards in your head.  If that makes sense.

no, first reason I am a Christian and that is not entertainment to me.
second reason no, I am happy with my own healthy sexual life with my husband, don't need to watch someone else's made up story.
and third reason no, is because its *bleep*, imho.  :bad:

I saw the movie and never read the book but was disappointed with it. Every told me how great the book was but the movie did nothing for me.

Nope. No desire to see the movie or read the book. I think it's trashy.

I did not read the book, so the movie was good for me. But I am planning to read the second book before I`ll watch the movie.
