do you like to go to parties at someone's home or go out to restaurant to celebrate?
there is no fuss when you go to a restaurant. some place even sing to you or offer you a birthday discount.

I like to go to a restaurant to celebrate now that I'm an adult.
I just went to my nephews' birthday & it was at Farrell's Ice-Cream Parlor & they make a big spectacle of birthdays.  Lots of fun for everyone  :)  (& great food)

Restaurant all the way - no fuss.  Enjoy each others company and celebrate casually.  I don't like the whole sing happy birthday thing ... the less attention brought towards me the better.

For children 12 years old and younger I think a party at home is best. As far as teenagers I think a dance party is best for that age group. As far as adults like myself I just go out to dinner.

Whenever someone in my family has a birthday we always go out to eat at a restaurant.  We don't like big celebrations and this way no one has to cook.  More convenient and intimate this way.

Unless it is a close family member I don't go to birthday parties.
