I can't believe Sony would have produced a movie about assassinating the ruler of North Korea.  As if that man and country weren't unstable enough.  It only strengthened the hate against America and Americans that they already possessed.  I had already warned my daughter about going to see it before Sony pulled the movie.

It's probably a dumb movie anyway and probably wouldn't have made much money.  I think America would be mad if another country made a movie about assassination Obama so why shouldn't South Korea feel the same?

Don't be fooled, "they" hate us no matter what we do or don't do.   Can't run the country based on other countries' hatred towards us.

Did you see South Park's Team America: World Police?   That wasn't so kind to the North Korean dictator either & we all survived.   

I think what is learned & most people should already realize & know, is don't write anything in an email that you don't want the entire world to read.  Don't post anything that you don't want the entire world to see either.    Hackers & malicious people are everywhere.

Personally I wish Sony had grown a backbone on this issue, and that certain parties in North Korea would learn what a sense of humor is.  And the funny part to me is that when this movie is released in some form (and I'm sure it will happen), all the fuss over banning it will simply make people want to see it all that much more.

Do you realize how many movies that come out where North Korea is the enemy in them? This movie isn't different from any of those. The only reason the cancelled the realize was because they were afraid of more of their personal emails being realized. There was never any credible threat towards the theaters.
