I love making homemade mac & cheese in the crock pot.   Most of the time it's plain, sometimes with breadcrumbs.  (Mac & Cheese pizza is the bomb!)

I don't add anything except different kinds of cheese. Looking at all these comments though have given me some suggestions for things I like to add to it.

Plain goodness, and please do not mess up the macaroni and cheese, that is one of the most important dishes of thanksgiving. :turkey:

mostly I like I the traditional mac and cheese, but beacon is always good.
