First Snow Flakes

We're having our first snow flakes of the season, here in, Cedar City, Utah.

Where are you and what's happening?

Have you seen snow, yet?

I really miss Utah No snow here in Colorado. It is getting really cold though. I like the lingering fall weather, the trees are always nice to look at.

I have not seen snow yet.  We just started seeing rain in southern Oregon.  We don't see tons of snow except for up in the mountains.

No snow here in Texas yet but we are having cooler temps.  Some of my relatives in SC said they had a little snow last week.  Guess I'm really ready for winter even though I do not like the shorter days.

Here in northern NJ we haven't even seen our first frost yet. I have lived here for 39 years and I don't think a first frost has ever been this late in the year. I know Maine has seen a lot of snow already, but we haven't had our first flakes yet. I am still going running in a long sleeved shirt with no sweater or jacket and even then, I have to roll up the sleeves because I am too warm.

No, not yet just very cool weather here in Maryland, I  hope not to see snow flakes any time soon; not looking forward to snow.

We had our first significant rainfall on Halloween night here in So Cal.   It's great because we need the rain badly.  I saw some of our mountains have a little bit of snow, it will be melted by tomorrow or the next day, but it is a start & it's beautiful.

I'm in NM and I still have tomatoes, watermelons and some late blooming sunflowers.  I'm watching the freeze predictions hoping my 6 1/2 foot sunflower gets to bloom first.  It took me four plantings to get them to come up this year.    It was a weird gardening year for me all around.

I guess congratulations are in order.  We (in Minnesota) haven't had any yet.  I heard forecasts of a possible rain/snow mix this weekend.  Ugh!

Here in PA we haven't seem any snow flakes or even frost.  I know we will probably get snow soon, not looking forward to it.

We had a few snowflakes to fall last week.  It was only for a little while and very little snow.  I hate what is to come this year.

I live in central Texas where it rarely snows so you are lucky to be having snow.  I wish I could see some snow.  We have had rainfall instead the past couple days.  Over 3 inches all together.

I got chills reading the title to this.  And not in a good way!!!  I am in the south and on the beach...so no snow flakes yet and we don't get any most years.  I really hate snow, but to each their own.

I am in Maryland.  When I lived in Michigan, my mom said it snowed on Halloween one year.
