Halloween is my favorite because it's the most fun to me. There's costumes, candy, an excuse to watch wildly ridiculous horror movies. You can decorate your home with fake tombstones, witches, laughing ghosts, and it's all totally acceptable with the holiday. I also love the time of year when Halloween lands, end of October when the air is crisp with a bite in it, but it's not yet super cold.

I would say Christmas, but I also really love Halloween. It's such a fun time seeing all the different costumes and such. Christmas seems to put people in such a  lousy mood! So annoying!!!

mines halloween (i also like the spring and summer holidays. summer more then spring) fall is the most fave out of the year in my book.

Christmas because it's the one time of year practically the whole family gets together and gets caught up on all the news from the previous year. We also always have a really nice meal together at Christmastime. Thanksgiving runs a close second even though it usually only involves the immediate family.

i have to admit that my favorite holiday is Christmas and not just because of the gifts but also because all of our family gets together.  everything is so bright and shiny with all the lights and its just a magical time of the year.  this year my son will be two so it should be a fun time for him as well.
