This month is unpredictable. Sometimes it gets real hot. Other times it gets a little chilly. It likes spring time in the summer.

I guess it depends where you are. Usually August is pretty warm in the mid atlantic states although this weekend is shaping up to be pretty crummy.

I don't really like August because summer is coming to a close.

August makes me sad too because the winter is that much closer and you may not believe it but it was 38 degrees a few nights ago. Feels like fall already.

Central Florida and it is pretty hot here in the summer months including August.  High electric bills trying to keep cool - oh well in the winter we don't have the bitter cold weather usually so I guess it evens out.

I used to look at it as the kids go back to school. Now  I think that I am not ready for it. Another month older. The time sure flies. I am definitely not ready for that s word snow lol.

Yep. The weather has already started to dip a little here. Tonight, it's 65 degrees.

Usually here in southwestern Ohio August is very very hot but this summer has been unusually cool so it may stay in the 70's and 80's most of the time.  I would like that just fine but it's hard on the people with swimming pools.

I like the cooler weather, also, but, as someone mentioned, it's no fun for the people with pools or those going to the beach.  My favorite time of the year is the Fall.  Also, I have a birthday in August.  I will be 72.  Never thought I'd make it this far!
