When was the last time you were sick?

This past thansgiving I got sick right at holiday.  Real bad sinus infection.

I had a cold in 2012.

Outside of allergies, I can't really recall the last time I was officially sick.  Probably about 10+ years ago when I had a bout with food poisoning.

Unfortunately, I am sick daily with several chronic diseases. I have forgotten what it feels like to not feel sick.

Still getting over whatever this is. Just when I thought I got rid of it, my throat starts feeling raw and I get a rash. I had it over Christmas too.

I caught a cold late last week and I'm still dealing with it. Bleah.

I guess you have to define sick. If you're referring to colds and flu's, it's been awhile. If you're including all ailments,
I had two heart surgeries in April. Still undergoing treatment and may need additional surgery. On the bright side, I got out of jury duty.

I don't get stick very often, perhaps about once a year, so when I do get sick, it really throws me. Before Christmas I got this flu bug which made me feel sick, dizzy and light headed. One night I got up to go to the bathroom and when I put my legs on the floor I couldn't feel them. As I sunk to the floor I grabbed onto some nearby furniture and managed to pull my way to the bathroom. It really scared me. Have you ever had that happen?

The Last time I was sick happened at the very worst point during a high-paying project that I had just started back in January of this year.  There was a concept that I had told my hiring manager I was weak in. I was to be brought up to date on that concept the entire week that I was sick.  I was coughing till I got dizzy, had a fever and nausea.  I had to excuse myself at least five times a day and never really got a good grasp on the concept. I am still on the same project till next week so I must have retained enough to do a fairly good job. They are thinking about extending the project next week as well...so something must have come about, sunk in while I was really sick.

Last january was the last time I was sick really bad. My 11 months baby that time and I were both had flu. I was even quit breastfeeding my baby because I was taking medicine and so did he. After we were both fine I started to breastfed him again but he didn't latch at all. That was my story of my last time being sick.

I hardly ever get sick, knock on wood. In fact, the last time I was sick was so long ago, I don't even remember when it was or what the sickness was. I try to stay in good shape by eating well and exercising regularly and these two things seem to work pretty well, so I intend to keep it up.
