Do you know how to drive a standard shift vehicle or do you drive an automatic?

I drive a manual. I will never go back to driving an automatic, unless the manufacturers stop making them. I love driving a stick!

I know how to drive both.  My truck is a standard and my girlfriends car is an automatic.  The standards are not that difficult to learn how to drive.  You always start is first gear and you let off easy and go and than you will need to shift into second almost immediately.  The trick is to listen to your motor when you hear the motor starting to wine you shift into a higher gear and once you are confident in driving a standard you'll find that you are skipping second or third but the trick is  using your feet off the clutch while pressing on the gas.  I think you can save a little in gas with a standard rather than an automatic.  Now this was interesting and I enjoyed explaining this it felt good.  I hope you try and practice driving a standard I think you will like it better.

I drive both.  But i prefer to drive stick shift. It's more fun and costs less when you buy a car.  Also, learn to drive stick shift so you can drive any type of car in case of emergency.

I never try the manual car, I `d like to try it but my husband don`t want me to practice to his car, He is afraid I`ll ruin it.

Automatic here. Stall it all the tim with manual.

I earned extra money for a while shuttling vehicles for a car dealer, so I am comfortable with anything that has wheels.

i have an automatic, but i can drive pretty much anything you stick me into if need be

I once drove stick shift but I regret it I changed all of my driving to automatic transmission

When I learned how to drive there was no choice, automatic transmission was not an available option.

I only drive Automatics.  Standard shift vehicles are just too hard to maneuver unless that is the only kind you have only driven.

I drive an automatic and have always wanted to learn how to drive a standard stick shift just never got the chance!!!
