I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and your sad feelings. I do know how you feel. I lost my wonderful dad on November 22nd 2007. Not only is this day implanted in my memory and always will be, but the day he left this world was also Thanksgiving Day. I have to be honest, on that day, I didn't feel thankful for anything. However over the years I have learnt to be thankful for the 69 years he did live. Let me add, he got cancer when I was two. He had his kidney removed and lived another 40 years. If he had died when I was two, I would never have known him. But for this outcome, I new him for 40 years and they were the best 40 years ever! You will come to terms with your loss but it will take time. You'll get there in your own time.
