popsicle sticks

do you remember eating popsicles as a child?
we would save the sticks and sharpen them pretending they were pencils.
We would save bunches of them.
If some of the kids from the neighborhood had the skill, they would build a "stick cabin house".

Yep, I remember popsicle sticks ... there are still around, but I don't think people are as creative with their kids as in the past.  My brothers and I used to build all sorts of stuff with the sticks!

We used to take 6 of them and weave them into a square Frisbee to throw around. Now kids need to spend $10 or more for a fancy plastic one.
