I have already done one set of returns my sister-in-law.  Now I need to settle down and get my taxes done.  Will probably have to pay since I didn't have much taken out.  If I had, I wouldn't have had much of a check left.
Have a wonderful day!

I haven't filed my taxes yet. I usually go to H&R Block. I'm praying for a huge refund.   :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11:

I haven't forgotten about them - just don't pay them until April because I owe big bucks including a penalty for not paying enough early enough.

I have heard they may not give us our refunds.  And with the debt ceiling thing there is a bigger chance that could happen.  That and cutting off the old people.  That will  be first on the list.  Grrr.

There's no chance of that happening. There could be a slight delay in receiving your refund due to the increases in tax return fraud, but that's it.

Planning to do mine this upcoming weekend.  Still expecting a few more documents to be delivered before I can complete them, and by law they all needed to be shipped by Jan 31, so I should be getting them sometime this week (hopefully).  I'm hoping my federal one is (1) a refund and (2) small.

Yes, that's right, I'm hoping for a small refund.  Why?  Because that means I've adjusted my claiming on my W-4 to pay me the most back each paycheck through the year, so I can at least invest the money to draw interest...rather than giving it to the government and hope I fill out the forms correctly to get it all back after a year...without interest...
