Red 'X's for Tasks, Please

I suggest the ability to hide Tasks off the list.
I have a long list of tasks, but when I click on them they state: my work is already done; there no longer to be done, etc...
Then there are some tasks that have glitches that will never let you finish without error.

I've had two youtube ones at the top of the list for the past couple days that just seem to be placeholders.     Such a waste of time to keep clicking on them. 

It would be really efficient if we could just have the option of hiding such tasks off the list.
