Week of Creation: What Were God's Working-Hours?

Verses 1 through -5 set up the pattern: He said 'Let this be as such,' it became as such, and the day and the night went by.

Do you get the idea that God took the Creation-job as one of those 'type in the program, run it, and get paid for the rest of the day (letting THE PROGRAM do the work)'-kinda jobs?

I mean, did God do all the 'work' the night before? or was He directly 'rendering' all day long for each of those days?

Each creation day was quite long.If stars that were 1000s of light years away from the earth are now able to be seen think of the time elapsed.

Also the bible says that 1 day to Jehovah is 1000 of our years.So Adam DID die in the day <Gods day>when he sinned.
