I actually bought a Turkey and a Ham this year... Then I left the Ham out of the fridge overnight  :sad1:  So, looks like just Turkey for us!   :turkey:

This year we are having both because the extended family will be feasting together. I know for sure the main dish will be ham and turkey but I am not sure what else is everyone bringing. I do want to try something called fry bread i haven't tried it before but I read about the early pilgrims and Indians had fried bread feast for 3  days.

Would love to do a turkey and a small ahm. Maybe next year when we'll be living around more family. But normally we just do a big turkey :)

my mother in law has been cooking both of them. I don't really have a choice because I don't cook for Thanksgiving. I am always invited somewhere for Thanksgiving.

I have a large family so we normally have ham, turkey and some other type meat, beef or pork.  Whatever we have it's always good eating.   :)

My family has been doing both the last few years, they both taste so good. What does your family have for thanksgiving?

I like turkey and ham. I eat way more turkey than ham. I know for a fact eating too much ham will raise the blood pressure so when there is leftovers I am more likely to eat turkey.

We usually do both, but if we skip one, we leave out the ham.

We love both, but if I personally had to choose, I would rather have the ham.  I love ham in preference to turkey; I love turkey too. :turkey: :turkey:

I'm not to big on pork. I use to love ham at one point in time. I have to say turkey is my favorite now due to health reasons.
