Interfearing ex
« on: November 25, 2013, 06:27:49 am »
I have a long distance relationship with an older guy who i met through an online gaming chat site. The problem is he's still friends with his ex gf. I don't have a problem with that but she keeps seeing him like everyday. If it was only like once a month or every few weeks i don't think i'd have an issue with that.
The other day when I asked him about this he told me it's better to be friends then be upset and hate each others guts. They both have seperate apartments. But he invited her over for dinner saturday night. Then Sunday night she brought him some stuff from walmart so he wouldn't have to go out.Doing that much for each other makes me think they still have feeling for one another. But my bf assures me it's strictly friendship and he wants for me and the ex to try be friends also. That the 3 of us all get along together.
I have yahoo chat and somehow she found out my chat name and was talking to me. She's very good with computers and somehow i think she found me by using my name. I just can't figure it out.Well we were talking and she was not being very friendly to me. She said- You have to first grow up, act like an adult, and get over the high school BS and realize me andDave are only friends. I'm not gonna stop calling him or going over to his place just cause you so insecure and can't realize we just friends. Then she said--If you ever try talking to me I'm gonna do whatever I have to so i can remove you from my life and not hear some dumb high school whining and complaining. Grow up and act your age.
Am I really acting crazy? Is it ok for exs to be super close after they break up? I've never heard of that. Could I get anyones opinion on this matter? I need all the help and advice I can get.
Thanks to everyone who can help. Appreciate it.

If he invited her over for dinner and she is going to Walmart for him then it sounds like they aren't broke up at all.  And she probably doesn't know about you.  He sounds like a player.

I would find another boy friend if i were you. A friend of mine married a guy that was still close to his ex. Would call each other 2-3 times a day and he was forever going over to do things for her. Anyway my friend found out they were using her to pay all of his bills while he was spending most of what he had on the ex. She deviorced him and lo and behold he and his ex were remarried with in a couple of months and had also cleaned out the joint bank account. Just saying you really need to think about this before getting in too deep.

Problems with this relationship:

Older man
Met through gaming chat room
Still seeing ex and making excuses for it
Ex is bringing food to his apartment
Sounds like you are too young

Have you met this man in person?  I would really be afraid of the other woman.  She sounds like she is psychotic.  I would run, run, run from this relationship.

run.  not only did you say that it is long distance it sounds like they are far too friendly still as a couple.  when its over it should be completely over.  you should not remain friends with your exes because its too easy to slip back into old ways.  not only that but you are unable to compete with a girl that is showing up when you live so far away.  talking from experience here met my husband online at a dating website and him and his ex were still friends until our 1 year marriage anniversary when he told me he was confused and wasent sure if he wanted to go back with his ex or stay with me.  i told him to drop his friendship with her and it instantly changed to him realizing he was just confused because they had remained to close.

This sounds too creepy! Sounds like he kinda wanted to add an extra ingredient to the relationship and maybe have the three of you get together for a slice of some love pie...lol. If you know what I mean!   :in-love: :-[
