First Snow of the Year

Yeah we got hit below you, Rainman. Illinois got the same snowfall. Beautiful, though annoying to walk through!

  And here in central florida as usual we are still in shorts, flip flops and tee shirts.  I think it would be nice to see some snow every once in a while but to live in it would be a thanks but no thanks

I'm happy for you if you like it.  I don't like snow so I am happy that I haven't seen any...and I won't be seeing any either.  Doesn't snow where I live.

I prefer that it would not snow until after thanksgiving and be done by St Patricks day.

We got our first snow of the year today in Wisconsin -- 11/11/2013 -- that is a little early for my liking.

We had a light snow a week ago that left nearly as soon as it hit the ground.

On 11-5-13 we had 4-5" of snow.  I didn't have to drive in it.  The conditions were bad out on the roads between white outs and the slushiness of the snow.

That snow has almost all melted and today should melt the rest of it.

Winter hasn't even begun.................

I live in NC and we had a few flakes here yesterday evening. My grandkids went running outside like it was a blizzard!
