I call them Pennies from Heaven!  Yes, I pick them up!!  My daughter about got me ran over once by telling me there was a dime in the road.  I stopped to look for it.....

Someone told me that if you're embarrassed to stoop down and pick up a penny, throw a dollar bill down by the coin, then retrieve them both.  People will think, "Wow, that guy was really lucky to find a dollar on the ground."

I always pick them up but lately, I haven't found any at the store(s). I find scratch off lottery tickets (not worth anything) or receipts for whatever someone bought in the store. I pick those up and deposit them in the trash can outside the door of the store.

I did find $5 in a store once laying there in one of the aisle's. I tried turning it in but the store told me not to bother and keep it, so I did. Good thing I did 'cause I was short in my order by $4.

everytime i see a penny on the ground i say.. See a penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck then i pick it up and put it in my purse : ]

Yes, I always do. I save every bit of change I get, it adds up eventually. I also pick up cans for the 5-cent deposit.

Yes I would because as the saying goes, see a penny pick it up, all the day you'll have good luck. I'm a bit superstitious.

Yes - I would always pick up a penny.  However, I must be in the wrong placer - because I rarely see any money on the ground.
