I know Antioxidants can prevent cancer, but does it treat cancer as well? I doubt it, prolly just suppresses the cancer cells from creating their own blood vessels so they can spread, but do you guys know anyone who beat cancer naturally?

I need proof! I just found out my auntie has colon cancer today and I'm trying to find ways to treat her without chemo. Helping her at least.

Thanks!

This is a very controversial topic and one that often has a lot of debate, but for me personally, I don't trust any type of treatment that doesn't have peer-reviewed studies to back it.

I'm so sorry to hear that your aunt got a diagnosis of colon cancer. I know you must be so worried for her.

My Dad has had colon cancer and liver cancer and they were able to cure both with surgery and no chemo. Talk to the doctor and don't be afraid to get a second opinion.

I had ovarian cancer.  I had surgery and chemo.  My sister searched and found 13 different vitamins and herbs that she had me take.  I'm not saying they helped cure me, but I never felt sick, never had the " metal" taste they say, and really had a easy time.  I'm so very sorry to hear about your aunt.  Tell her to get a second opinion and maybe she might just need surgery and won't have to have chemo or radiation.  Good luck to her and I will keep her in my prayers.

Unfortunately, the "cure" is illegal in most states. You can go to a site called curezone and there will be loads of information there. Another good site is called natmedtalk. Good luck to your aunt. My husband died of liver cancer and I spent many hours researching and a LOT of money on natural holistic cures and there were many people praying for him as well. In the end, I wish I had let him have whatever he wanted to eat so he could have enjoyed all his final days. I'm sorry for your pain.

My mother had breast cancer for which she had a mastectomy and radiation therapy. She also had cervical cancer for which she had a radium implant. She then heard about Laetrile which is a natural cure for cancer. You could not get in the United States. People had to go to Mexico to get it. But we found out that the ingredient in Laetrile that supposedly kills the cancer cells is cyanide.

Since apricot seeds have that ingredient, we set off in quest of apricot seeds which my mother took for a long time. They were quite hard to come by; a downright adventure in futility sometimes trying to find them. Then she found out that cashew nuts have that same healing property, and she started eating them every day. My mom was an advocate of natural healing, and I think it worked to stave off her cancer for a long while.

She finally died of congestive heart failure over twenty years later, and she evidently had a touch of cancer in her lungs that we were not aware of. I advised a friend of mine who was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 91 to eat cashews. He lived another year with no symptoms of his cancer. I don't believe he was ever in pain from it.

So I believe in eating cashews. I eat them as a preventative. I also firmly believe in a positive attitude about beating it since it is possible. The human body is capable of staving off almost any disease if it is not compromised in other ways such as obesity, high blood pressure, depression, etc. Prayer also helps.

It can't hurt, but it could be a lifesaver. I think it's worth doing. I wish more doctors would learn how to prevent disease instead of just curing it after it happens.

My Dad got cancer (kidney) when he was just 28 years old (I was about 3 and didn't know what cancer was at the time). After removing a kidney, the doctor told him to take a vacation with my mum and get some needed R&R.  Can you believe, 12 months later he was clear, not only that but he then stayed cancer free for 41 years. By then he was 69. Sadly he did die 3 months later. You might think it was sad that he died, I think it was great that he lived another 41 years! Why?  Because I then got the privilage of getting to know my Dad.

My father died of brain cancer at the age of 31, 2 years, 11 days after I was born.  I have heard it said that surgery does not help cancer; once you are in the operating room and the surgeons open you up, it spreads quicker because of the oxygen.  Back when my father had cancer, there were not a lot of innovative methods known of.  I am sorry to hear of your aunt having colon cancer, and my prayers are with you.  I stayed in the hospital with a young lady who had colon cancer.  She passed at the age of 31 as well.  I wish you luck in finding natural treatments for your aunt. :o ??? :angel11: :angel12:

I don't know for sure if this was all that he did, I doubt it, but my 5th grade teacher had developed cancer. And when he got sick the whole family cleaned up their diets. Went too all organic food and took supplements. I think that was 10 years ago and he's still alive and doing pretty good today. I think all natural can certainly help. Whether it actually helps with cancer or just makes you at least feel better but I don't think it's a cure all.
