Does anyone like doing stuff for halloween.........

What does that have to do with anything? If you didn't like the topic you did not have to waste your time answering...So what if its september people get excited about halloween way before october even starts...No harm in asking questions if you can't say anything positive then don't say it at all.. This forum is about ANYTHING... Kept PG so why don't YOU go do YOUR homework and let people ask what they want.. it's all about having fun..Nuff said..

This is the beginning of SEPTEMBER, Halloween doesn't happen until the end of OCTOBER, need I say more other than work on your homework if you are in school...

I sometimes dress up but recently I've been doing stuff for either school or for my parents that I wasn't able to dress up.  I enjoy decorating the house and carving a pumpkin as most of my Halloween experience.  I once went to a party but I was younger so I didn't really enjoy it much.  I think it might be nice to do that again now but I don't really know any one that throws a party.

absolutely Halloween then Christmas  always decorate the house up great people always drive by to see it as we get older not so much into handing out candy anymore

I love going over to my younger sister's house because she and her husband decorate the entire inside and outside of their house-sound effects and everything. They have more Halloween decorations than Christmas decorations and their house always looks fantastic. They also have about three huge boxes of candy to give out for the trick or treaters and my brother dresses up as a wizard. People bring their kids from all over town to see him and their house. It is a great time.

My sister was born on Halloween and she will be 49 this year.  I really don't celebrate Halloween.  That is because, when I was growing up, people would throw rotten eggs at us.  When I lived in Chicago, my daughter only got the candy she got from school or from the store.  There are a lot of mean-spirited people who believe in doing stuff to candy to hurt children.  When my daughter went out on Halloween one year, she came back from the suburbs with a lot of candy; it was her first time.  My grandson lives with me, but he will have candy from the school and my husband is the biggest kid there is.  He buys candy.

Yes, sometimes I buy candy for Trick Or Treaters and throw small Halloween parties for my nieces. We also like to do Halloween arts and crafts.

When my girls were younger we always decorated the house and had parties for them and their friends.  I loved to sit outside with my neighbors and give out candy, especially to the little ones.  My girls are both grown and out of the house, and we have also moved.  My husband and I live in a development with everyone having 2 or more acres.  The first year we were here, I bought tons of candy (like I always did) and waited and waited - no kids ever showed up!    I guess with the distance between properties they don't come.  So now we don't stay home but go to my one daughter's house and give out candy so she and her husband can both take their kids out.

I take my grandkids trick or treating and we visit this onre house down the road from us. They seem to go all out for years.

I normally wait about 1 week before Holloween before doing anything, especially for any shopping. I find they have the sales on at that time.
