When working on the tasks, while we are being timed, is there a way that we can pause the timer and come back to the task later?

no I don't think you can pause the timer....not all tasks have timers though so just look through the tasks and select the right ones for you....some are easier and others.....others require a lot of thought.  Good luck

Unfortunately you can't pause the timer.  Some tasks are fairly easy to do and can be done within a few minutes or less.  But there are some that are more time consuming. If I know it may take some time, then i just close it and move on to an easier one.

I think this has to do with the limited amount of work available in each task. If you could pause and come back, the task might not be available for someone else. It could cause issues for CrowdFlower when people don't come back to complete the task.
