What is the worst LIE ever told on you that almost completely ruined your life?

Hi Guys,

We all have told them from time to time but I personally think the worst liars
are the ones told by women when they are trying to break up another woman's marriage.

Men are also big liars, take for instance, Bill Clinton, his famous statement 'I did not have sex with that woman'
But what's the worst lie a person ever told on you and did you find it in your heart to forgive that person and did you distance yourself as well?

I am married to my hubby.  He told me two weeks after we began to date that he used to "talk" to my youngest sister.  When I asked him when that was, he told me 10 years ago (we began dating in 2009) and he told me his reasons for not wanting a relationship with her.  She told him she wanted a baby and he wanted to wear a rubber to protect himself from any extra babies (he has 2); she told him he was not going to make love to her with that rubber on.  My youngest sister has always been an instigator when it comes down to making trouble.  After she discovered we were dating, she ran into him and accused him of dating both of us; his response was that "I never dated you."  Her intent was to break us up by telling him I was going to break his heart, and that did not work.  He told me he never even kissed her or saw her naked; he gave her ten dollars, which she bought a pair of capris to wear to see her ex, who is in jail for life for killing the next door neighbor.  He told me he brought her home with him and she refused to do anything, so he took her home.  I think it is sad when a woman do not know the difference between a platonic relationship and a relationship where sex is involved.  She had sex with several men and had them tested to see who was the father of my niece, including him, and he told her he never did anything with her.   We were married nearly 2 years ago.  Her latest lie was that I told her I liked his brother, who is my brother in-law.  I was pissed about it because I wanted to know when I had time to tell her that when I haven't spoken to her in 7 years.  In addition, I said that in order to claim a man, you had to have a man, which she can't keep because she told the last guy she was with he had better not say anything to her about hanging out with my niece, or she would call the police and have him locked up.  He left and hasn't been back.
